“Walikuwa wameniua, but I’m back like I never left”, Jeff Koinange says after 6 Months Off-Air

Citizen TV journalist Jeff Koinange made a return to his Wednesday night show ‘JKLive’ after 6 months off-air, erasing online speculation surrounding his disappearance.

During his hiatus, false rumours of his demise had taken over social media, prompting some of his close allies like media personality Xtian Dela to share his WhatsApp conversations with Jeff to the public to prove that the journalist was alive and well.

Some of his viewers speculatiled that he had left the station, after his trademark ‘JKLive’ show continued to be hosted by other presenters at Citizen TV.

During his comeback show on Wednesday, December 10, Citizen TV’s Ayub Abdikadir welcomed Jeff back to the screens saying, “Today, we reconstitute the three words that follow each other on the keyboard. JKL….”

After walking to the scene, Jeff in his first words responded by saying “Walikuwa waniua (they had killed me) ….I’m back, as if I never left”While introducing his panelist for the show, Jeff went on to display a black t-shirt with the writing ‘Lazarus’ while jokingly saying “The news of my death has been exaggerated. For 2000 years, hakuna mtu amefufuka (no one has risen)

On his X platform, the renowed journalist wrote “I’m baaaaaaack” which was followed by a post from Citizen TV saying ” The GOAT has returned! @KoinangeJeff is back on Citizen TV and we are just as excited as you are!Welcome home, Jeff!”Details of his 6-month absence however remain unclear.
