Kenya Power has announced a planned power interruption affecting parts of Machakos County under the Nairobi Region to allow for routine maintenance works.
The outage is scheduled for Sunday, January 25, 2026, from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
According to the utility company, the interruption will affect areas along Mombasa Road, including Small World, Game Ranch, Bhachu Gas, and adjacent customers.
Kenya Power said the planned maintenance is part of ongoing efforts to upgrade electricity infrastructure, improve reliability, and reduce unplanned outages.
Customers in the affected areas have been advised to plan accordingly during the interruption period.
