The TV 47 journalist has in the past two years been involved in a relationship with her young boyfriend identified as Charlie Jones, sparking online criticism regarding their age difference.
On 19th December, Betty shared a post on social media, announcing she was expecting a child with Charlie.

God Is Great!”, she wrote on her social media.
In 2024, rumours around Betty’s boyfriend circulated after she began sharing photos and videos flaunting gifts given to her by an anonymous boyfriend.
During an interview with Comedian Eric Omondi, the 36-year-old TV personality cleared the air following speculation she was dating a 21-year-old, after Kenyans claimed to have identified Charlie.
“A lot of information that people heard was wrong, the claims about him being 21 are wrong,” Betty said.
Rumors intensified after she started posting photos together, with Kenyans particularly drawn to a photo of the two wearing matching outfits. The two have since been posting photos and seen in public together.
On Charlie’s birthday, Betty wrote on Instagram “It’s my Man’s birthday today! I want to first Thank God for You @charliemny. You’ve been a great beautiful blessing to me for almost 2 years now!!!! Can you imagine? You’re a wonderful Man. A Partner”
