The Agricultural Finance Corporation (AFC) has announced 10 employment opportunities across its legal and human capital departments, inviting qualified Kenyans to submit applications before the August 3, 2026 deadline.
The state-owned development finance institution, which provides agricultural credit to farmers and agribusinesses across the country, said the vacancies are available at both senior management and operational levels.
In a recruitment notice published on Tuesday, July 21, AFC encouraged eligible applicants to submit their applications through its online recruitment portal.
“If you meet the qualifications, please apply on this portal,” the corporation said in the advertisement.
Vacancies on offer
The recruitment exercise includes executive and technical positions aimed at strengthening the corporation’s legal and administrative functions.
Among the advertised vacancies are:
- Chief Human Capital and Administration Officer
- Corporation Secretary and Chief Legal Services Officer
- Head of Legal (re-advertised)
- Four Legal Officer positions
- Three Legal Assistant positions
The corporation said the recruitment process will be conducted electronically to efficiently manage the anticipated high number of applications.
Application requirements
Applicants are required to submit a cover letter, an updated curriculum vitae, copies of academic and professional certificates, a copy of their national identity card and any other relevant supporting documents.
Candidates who are shortlisted will also be expected to provide clearance certificates in line with Chapter Six of the Constitution.
These include:
- Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)
- Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) Tax Compliance Certificate
- Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) Clearance Certificate
- Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) clearance
The corporation warned that incomplete applications or canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
