Controversial ‘Prophetess’ Lucy Natasha Accused of Selling ‘Anointing Oil’ for a BREATHTAKING KSh 194,000 – Top News

Date:

NAIROBI, KENYA – Flamboyant preacher Reverend Lucy Natasha, known for her lavish lifestyle and charismatic sermons, has found herself at the centre of a heated online debate after a video surfaced showing her selling what she termed “anointing oil” for a staggering KSh 194,000 ($1,500) per bottle.

The viral TikTok clip, first reported by a TikTok User @_soldier_for_christ, shows the self-proclaimed Oracle of God calling on her followers to make a “prophetic sacrifice” to “partner with the work of God.” She can be heard in the video appealing for three individuals to come forward and purchase a bottle of what she called “the Lion of Judah oil.”

The video shows two people walking to the stage, suggesting the transaction was well underway. If all three “sacrifices” were made, the total from that single call would have amounted to a jaw-dropping KSh 582,000.

The shocking price tag immediately ignited a firestorm on social media, with many users questioning the commercialization of faith. Critics online accused the preacher of exploiting her followers, turning her ministry into a money-making venture. However, others staunchly defended the reverend, citing the biblical principle of tithing and sowing seeds for a harvest.

While the specific TikTok video has not been independently verified or located on a public platform like YouTube, the controversy highlights a broader conversation about the financial practices of some modern-day ministries. Reverend Natasha’s ministry has previously faced scrutiny over its opulent display of wealth, including luxury cars and a glamorous security team known as the “protocol team.”

As a ministry, Lucy Natasha’s Oracle of God TV YouTube channel features a variety of sermons and teachings, often focused on financial breakthroughs and prosperity, and promotes partnership through various payment methods. You can watch her sermons and learn more about her ministry on her official YouTube page.
