Government jobs remain highly competitive
Career development associate Simon Ingari noted that public sector vacancies continue to attract significant interest due to the benefits associated with government employment.
He observed that government positions are sought after because they offer stable employment, pension benefits and structured career progression, making competition particularly intense.
Ingari advised applicants to carefully review the advertised qualifications and ensure they meet all minimum requirements before submitting their applications.
Other public sector recruitment underway
Separately, the Unclaimed Financial Assets Authority (UFAA) recently announced vacancies for three senior general manager positions.
The authority said applications must be submitted through its online recruitment portal by July 14, 2026, warning that any attempt to influence the recruitment process would result in automatic disqualification.
The positions are being offered on renewable five-year contracts.
