Kenya Power has announced scheduled electricity maintenance that will interrupt power supply in parts of West Pokot, Nyeri and Kiambu counties on Friday, July 10.
In a public notice issued on Thursday, the utility company said the planned maintenance works will take place between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., affecting several residential areas, businesses, schools and communication facilities.
West Pokot to Experience Full-Day Outage
In West Pokot County, the planned maintenance will affect customers in Kodera, Losam and Alale under the North Rift region.

Kenya Power said the planned interruptions are necessary to facilitate routine maintenance and improve the reliability of electricity supply.
The company advised customers in the affected areas to make the necessary arrangements ahead of the scheduled outages.
The announcement comes months after Kenya Power relocated its Kenol customer service office from Shuhan Building in Kabati Town to Jotis Business Centre in Kenol as part of efforts to improve customer service delivery.
